Dave Linka, Rector: Dave has been at All Saints since June of 2009. He and his wife, Katie, were married in 1989. They have two teenage daughters, Alexis and Meredith, and a toddler boy named Brenner. He grew up in Virginia and graduated from The College of William & Mary and later earned an MBA from the University of Richmond. Prior to entering seminary, Dave had a 15-year career in sales and marketing. His ministry degree is from Columbia Biblical Seminary and School of Missions in Columbia, South Carolina. He served on staff with the Anglican Mission in the Americas and All Saints Church, both in Pawleys Island, South Carolina, from 2003 – 2005. In 2005, the Linkas moved to Northern Michigan, where he served as Rector of New Life Anglican Church in Petoskey through mid-2009. Dave's ministry focuses on preaching and teaching, discipleship and administration. He enjoys spending time with his family, the beach and kayaking.
Wayne Deane, Deacon: Wayne became a member of the All Saints staff following his ordination as Deacon in January 2012. Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, he earned his BS in psychology and MS in guidance and counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University. He was a teacher, high school counselor, and asistant principal in Virginia before moving to North Carolina in 1998. He was an assistant principal in Carteret County before retiring in 2006. He and his wife, Marsha, joined All Saints (then St. Andrew's) in 1998. Prior to being called as a deacon, he served as an usher, vestry member, prayer ministry team leader, and lay Eucharistic minister at All Saints. His ministry focuses on pastoral care, prayer ministry, pastoral counseling, and assisting the Rector.
Wendy Lawson, Administrator: Wendy has been with All Saints since September 2009, and serves the Church Office with a staff of twenty volunteers. Wendy brings over 14 years' experience in church settings and has a deep passion for the organization, promotion and individual enhancement of the ministries of the church. She is married to Bob Lawson and they live in New Bern.
Bob Lawson, Facilities Manager: Bob began work at All Saints in October 2011. He retired from Century Link as a telephone installer after 30+ years. He brings with him experience in electrical, minor plunbing, carpentry, computer set-up, camera and security installation, and of course telephone and communications wiring. Bob oversees the daily maintence and smooth running of all facilities and mechanicals. Bob is married to Wendy Lawson and they live in New Bern.
Elana McClure, Praise and Worship Team Leader: Elana has been a part of All Saints since 1996 and has served as praise and worship team leader for the past 5 years. She grew up in Carteret County and attended East Carolina University as a music student for voice performance and piano. Elana is married to her best friend and husband, Joey. They have 3 children and live in Morehead City.
Bobbie Burroughs, Connecting Ministries Director: Bobbie Burroughs joined our staff in September 2010. Her multiple hats keep her busy planning the Sunday School program, organizing teachers, tending to the scheduling and staffing of the nursery and organizing events for the church family to deepen their Christian faith and encourage family attendance. Bobbie is an interior decorator when not busy at All Saints, and lives at Pine Knoll Shores.
Pamela & Paul Sproul, Youth Pastors: Pamela Sproul and her husband Paul have been leading Soldiers For Christ Youth Group since 1999. Pamela and Paul have been married since 1995 and have three children. In addition to working with the youth group, Pamela is a devoted stay-at-home Mom. Paul is a schoolteacher, coach, and owns a small landscaping business. They feel blessed to be able to work with the youth of this community.
Laurence Stith, Choirmaster & Organist: A New Bern native, Laurence studied at UNC-Chapel Hill prior to attending the renowned Juilliard School in New York City. He studied and worked in New York City for thirteen years, and then returned to the area to complete his schooling at East Carolina University. The Carteret County schools engaged him to write a proposal for a Cultural Arts Program as part of a federally funded program, ESEA Title III. The program was funded for three years, 44 years ago. Since moving to Carteret Country, Laurence served First United Methodist Church in Morehead from 1970-1980; and then St. Andrews Episcopal in 1980, beginning a 30-plus year association with this parish as Choirmaster and Organist.
